Welcome to Rick's 25th Anniversary Corvette Page
I purchased
a used 1978 25th Anniversary Corvette in the summer of 97.
It
was a real beater and needed to be restored badly. I did a frame on restoration
that took 13 months of working on it every day, to get it to "Show Condition".
I have entered it in many local shows, placing first, but the real honor was
when
I won Judge's Choice at Funfest 98 in Effingham, IL..There were over 4200
Vettes to compete with, and Wil Cooksey, Plant Manager of the Corvette Assembly
Plant in Bowling Green KY, picked my Vette. I showed
it in 1999 also and won
many 1st place trophies and a few "best of Show". In September at Funfest
99,
I won a Judge's Choice Award again out of over 5,100 Corvettes, what a weekend!
